Terms
These terms cover two things: using this website, and the basis on which the studio takes on project work. Where you have a signed proposal or written agreement with us, that document takes precedence over anything here.
Who we are
bilal.agency is a web design studio operated by M Bilal Asgher as a sole trader, based in Pakistan. Contact us at hello@bilal.agency.
Using this website
The writing, layout and design of this site belong to us. The client work shown in our case studies belongs to the clients who commissioned it, and is published here with their work as the subject. You are welcome to read, quote and link to any of it with attribution. Do not copy it wholesale, present it as your own, or use it to train a model.
Scope of work
Every project is defined in writing before it starts: what is being built, what is included, and what it costs. If the scope changes during the project, we agree the change in writing first, and it may affect both the timeline and the fee. Estimates are estimates. Where a date matters, say so at the start and we will scope backwards from it.
Who owns what
Once a project is paid for in full, the final deliverables we produced for you are yours. We keep the rights to our own underlying tools, components and general know-how, which we reuse across projects. Anything you supply to us, such as brand assets, copy or a design file, stays yours throughout.
Showing the work
We may show completed work in our portfolio and case studies, and describe what we did on it. If you would rather we did not, or would rather we waited until a launch date, tell us and we will agree that in writing. If you ask us to remove or correct something we have published about your project, we will.
Confidentiality
This runs both ways. We will not disclose your non-public information, including commercial terms, unreleased products, internal documents and credentials, and we expect the same of ours. This continues after the project ends. It does not cover information that is already public or that we are required by law to disclose.
What we do not guarantee
We build websites well. We do not promise a specific business result from one, and we will not quote you a traffic, ranking, conversion or revenue figure we cannot stand behind. We also do not control the platforms we build on. Webflow, Framer and the services we integrate change their features and pricing on their own schedule, and that can affect a finished site.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction, unless a signed agreement between us says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Work already agreed in writing runs under the terms in place when it was agreed.
