Privacy Policy
This page explains what bilal.agency collects when you get in touch, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it. It is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because you should be able to read it.
Who we are
bilal.agency is a web design studio operated by M Bilal Asgher as a sole trader, based in Pakistan. If you have a question about this policy or about data we hold, email hello@bilal.agency.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. If you use the contact form, that is your name, your email address, and optionally your company, a description of what you are building, a budget range and a timeline. If you email us directly, we hold whatever is in that email.
Our host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as part of running and securing the site. We do not use those logs to build a picture of you.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and to discuss the project you contacted us about. That is the only reason. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not profile you, and we do not use your details for anything you did not get in touch about.
What we do not do
This site runs no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no third-party marketing scripts. We do not sell, rent or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.
Cookies and browser storage
We set no tracking cookies. The site stores a single value in your browser's session storage so it remembers you have already seen the loading screen and keeps it shorter next time. It contains nothing about you, and your browser clears it when you close the tab. Our host may set a cookie that is strictly necessary to serve and secure the site.
Who else is involved
Webflow hosts this website and stores contact form submissions, which are also emailed to us. Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. One open source scroll library is served from the unpkg CDN. These are the only third parties involved in running this site.
Where your data goes
We operate from Pakistan, and our host stores data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. If you contact us from the UK, the EU or Switzerland, your information will be transferred and stored outside that region.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records connected to paid work are kept longer where we need them for accounting. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy of it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bilal.agency and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK, the EU or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything to the site that collects data, such as analytics, we will update this page and change the date at the top before it goes live.
