A Swiss B2B growth consultancy moving away from generic agency positioning, designed in Figma and rebuilt in Webflow as a structured, CMS driven site in German.

Overview

Digitalwahl is a B2B growth consultancy based in Winterthur, Switzerland, founded by Konstantin Malt. It works with owner led Swiss B2B companies rather than with enterprise marketing departments.

The business was repositioning. It had outgrown the description of an agency that runs campaigns and was moving toward advising on growth as a system, where strategy, demand generation, demand capture and conversion are treated as one connected path rather than as separate services sold individually.

The website had to carry that change. It was designed in Figma first, then built in Webflow in German, on a CMS structure the team can extend without a developer.

The challenge

The positioning was still moving while the site was being built. Digitalwahl was shifting from an SME focused marketing proposition to a broader growth consultancy. Service names, copy and the shape of the offer were being decided alongside the design, so the site could not be treated as a container for finished content.

Generic agency language works against a consultancy. The category is full of sites that promise leads and campaigns. Reading like those sites would have undone the repositioning before a visitor reached the services.

The reference sites implied a larger production. The examples the client admired carry custom illustration, motion design and native language copywriting produced by studio teams. That sets an expectation which has to be either matched or renegotiated.

The scope grew well past the original brief. The engagement began as a five page website and finished as a multi page site with service landing pages, a CMS driven blog, legal pages and a reusable service architecture.

Goals

  • Present Digitalwahl as a growth consultancy rather than a campaign agency
  • Communicate the growth methodology as one connected system
  • Structure the services clearly and give each one a page that can rank
  • Show case studies, client logos and testimonials as evidence
  • Build a stronger path from first visit to enquiry
  • Leave a CMS foundation the team can extend without a developer

Approach

Design in Figma before building. The visual direction, hierarchy and positioning were settled as a design and reviewed before any Webflow work started. With the positioning still in motion, that gave it somewhere to settle while changes were still cheap.

Structure the offer as a path, not a list. The services were arranged to read as a sequence, from strategy through demand generation and demand capture to conversion and growth. Four areas carry it on the site: Revenue Strategy, Paid Growth, Organic Growth, and Creative and Web.

Reusable service architecture. Rather than treating every service page as a separate design, the service pages were built from one shared structure that can be duplicated and filled with new content. Adding a service became a content task instead of a design project.

Webflow rather than Framer. Both platforms were considered. The project needed CMS driven content and a page structure that would keep growing, which is what decided it.

A positioning section that asks a question. An Is This You section names the situation the reader is in before offering anything, which qualifies a visitor more honestly than a list of benefits does.

Motion without heavy video. The reference sites leaned on large video renders. The same visual result was built with scroll based animation, hover states, glass effects and a custom loader, so the page kept its presence without the weight that embedded video would have added.

Design

The typography system pairs Manrope with Metal from the brand guidelines, which is where the editorial tone of the site comes from.

The identity runs on an ocean theme built around a whale motif, a play on Wahl and Wal. Glassmorphism surfaces, custom cards and branded imagery were designed on top of that rather than beside it.

The methodology section numbers its steps, .01 and .02 onward, so the sequence reads at a glance instead of being described in prose. Case studies, trusted brand logos and testimonials each got their own treatment, so the evidence on the page stays separated by type.

Build

Built in Webflow in German, with the CMS driving the blog and the reusable service and expertise structures.

Implemented across the site: SEO structure with meta information and image alt text, schema markup, sitemap and robots, hreflang, a cookie banner, form setup, Google Maps and YouTube integration, and the navigation, CTA and footer linking. The domain was connected from Hostinger.

Interaction work covered scroll based animation, hover states, glass effects, image transitions, an interactive service presentation and a custom loader. Responsive work covered desktop, tablet and mobile layouts, responsive typography, text wrapping and overflow fixes, image optimization and lag reduction, checked across browsers and devices.

Outcome

The site is live at digitalwahl.ch, in German, as a multi page Webflow build with CMS driven blog and service content.

In the design review the client singled out the typography system, the hero, the numbered methodology section and the Is This You section, and described the result as clean.

He rated the completed work five stars, with five out of five for communication, quality of delivery and value of delivery, and returned afterwards with further paid work.

No traffic, ranking or conversion figures are published here. Digitalwahl has not shared performance data, and those numbers will be added if and when they exist rather than estimated.

Key takeaways

  • When reference sites imply studio scale production, custom illustration, motion design and native language copywriting, that gap has to be named and priced before design starts, not discovered during the build.
  • A repositioning and a website cannot be sequenced neatly. Designing in Figma first gave the positioning somewhere to settle before the structure was committed to code.
  • Building every service page from one reusable structure turns each future service into a content task rather than a new design project.
